Year Progress & Life in Weeks
See how far through the year you are and visualise your life in weeks as a grid you can download and share.
π Runs entirely in your browser β nothing is uploadedHow much of the year has passed?
The top card shows a progress bar for the current year with the percentage complete, the day number and the days remaining. It is a quick way to keep goals and deadlines in perspective, and many people share the percentage on social media as a gentle reminder to use the time well.
The calculation uses your own device clock and calendar, so it handles leap years correctly and updates whenever you load the page.
Your life in weeks
The life-in-weeks chart turns a lifetime into a grid. Each small square is one week and each row is one year of 52 weeks. Enter your date of birth and an expected lifespan, such as 90 years, and the squares for the weeks you have already lived are filled in, with the current week highlighted. The grid makes visible how much time has passed and how much might remain, an idea popularised by essays on the finite number of weeks in a human life.
Use it as motivation rather than worry: seeing around 4,700 squares for ninety years reminds many people to prioritise relationships, health and projects that matter.

Press Download PNG to save the grid as an image, or use the copy button next to it to paste it into a post or document. The chart is drawn on a canvas in your browser, so your date of birth is never uploaded or stored. The lifespan is only an assumption chosen by you and not a prediction; adjust it to see different views.
If you share the image, consider keeping the birth date private by sharing only the grid. You can also use the tool for a child, a partner or a pet by entering their birth date and a suitable lifespan, which makes a thoughtful visual gift.
